I am your normal women, diagnosed several years ago with bipolar disorder, disabled now because my disease progressed to psychotic states, leaving me on the edge of stability and unable to function well out there in the real world much of the time.
Bear with me. This is my first blog. I am a perfectionist, but I am trying to let go of this and laugh off the occasional typo or misplaced word.
I want most to be honest with you because I think it can be a healing thing for both you and I. I need to tell the truth, and perhaps you need someone to mirror parts of the truth you live with as well. I'm excited about the journey.
That's amazing! Great job...I was diagnosed with bipolar and the meds they put me on at first made me gain 60 lbs! I was in horrible shape and very sick. I felt like the medication wasn't working well anymore, so I talked to my doctor about switching and I lost all of that weight in less than a year. Partly, I was feeling better...Able to get up and do stuff...Stay awake during the day, but my doctor also said that medications can actually not let your body lose that weight. I just thought I would share that, but great job with your weight loss! I love swimming.
Way to go!
